🎡 Saving the Fair: The Battle That Kept Norfolk’s Tradition Alive
A look back to 1930 when Norfolk County Fair was on the brink of shutdown due to debt. Rather than liquidate, community members revolted, formed a committee, lobbied the county, and ultimately kept the tradition alive.
🎶 Red Fox Farm Hosts a Night of Song and Story(by Kirk Fox)
On October 4, Red Fox Farm welcomed singer-songwriter Matthew de Zoete and his band Colour Film for an intimate barn concert. Between songs, he shared personal stories; local act Aardvark and Sons opened.
💈 Cuba Fades Barbershop Expands to Simcoe — Grand Opening October 25
Cuba Fades, originally in Brantford, is opening a new Simcoe location at 19 Colborne St S. Raffles, giveaways, refreshments, and a watch giveaway will celebrate the launch.

An exploration of LaSalette’s history—from its original names and railway roots to the present day—and how the old church and community hall remain gathering spots for events, weddings, and local traditions.

• Competitive Leagues – Open, Ladies, Men, Mixed, and Senior divisions
• 5U Instructional League – Perfect for curlers with 5 years or less experience, with coaches on ice to assist (now on Sunday mornings!)
• Adult Learn to Curl – Brand new to curling? This is your starting point!
• Youth Programs – Introducing the next generation to the roaring game
• Drop-In Program – Non-members welcome! Pay per game or purchase a pass for flexibility
• Doubles Curling – Now in the 4:00 PM Sunday slot

Whether you want full privileges to play in multiple leagues, prefer just one league, or want the freedom of drop-in curling – there’s a membership option that fits your lifestyle!
