March is rolling in with a busy weekend across the county — live music, markets, theatre, brunches, and more happening from Port Dover to Delhi. Whether you're looking for something lively, something cozy, or just an excuse to get out of the house, there’s plenty going on around Norfolk.

We’re also marking International Women’s Day with a look back at some of the inspiring women who helped shape our community, and sharing a local author’s heartfelt effort to support the Norfolk-Haldimand Hospice.

The Norfolk Insider is growing, and we’re excited to introduce a couple of people helping make it happen.

Many of you may already know Ariana, our Director of Social Media, who helps bring Insider stories and events to life online. We’re also welcoming Tamiah, our new Director of Events.

Tamiah is currently coordinating Dinner Club, and will soon be helping create even more opportunities for the Norfolk community to get together.

The Insider has always been about community — and we’re excited to keep building it.

We’ve made a decision about the future of the Norfolk Insider: we’re going ad-free.

While advertising helped offset the real costs of running the newsletter, we ultimately decided that removing ads makes the publication cleaner, easier to read, and more focused on what matters most — events, community, and everything that makes Norfolk special.

Running the Insider isn’t free, but moving forward we’ll introduce a few optional ways for readers and business to support the publication if they’d like.

Our goal is simple: to make the Insider the best community publication in Norfolk.
