Hello Norfolk!

This week we have an incredible lineup - including strawberry socials, April Wine in concert, a pin-up picnic and 21 live music events!

But the main event, is Canada Day.

🍁 Canada Day 🍁 (or as we used to call it, Dominion Day, until 1982) has been a big deal in Norfolk since 1868! Back then, the community was buzzing with excitement, celebrating Canada’s new Dominion status and dreaming about the future.

Today, we’re still riding that wave of pride with fireworks, parades, and all-around good vibes. It’s a time to come together, enjoy some fun, and celebrate everything that makes Canada awesome.

To add a little twist to the celebration, I’ve created a short video that gives you a sneak peek into what the very first Dominion Day in Norfolk might have looked like in 1868. It's history with a fun, modern spin. Hope you enjoy it!
