💵💥 Norfolk’s $100 Cash Drop — FOUND! 🎯

On Sunday, we pulled off something a little different for our readers — a surprise $100 cash drop right here in Norfolk County. 🗺️ We tucked 5 crisp $20s into a secret hiding spot, dropped a hint video on Facebook/Instagram, and waited to see who’d strike gold first.

Turns out… we didn’t have to wait long. 👀
Not even a half hour later, SHE swooped in, spotted the prize, and claimed it with a victory smile you’ve got to see. 😄💸

📹 We caught the whole thing on camera — the hunt, the moment of discovery, and that sweet “I can’t believe I found it” reaction.

💪🌱 Meet Josh Parsons — The Man Behind Simcoe Strong 🏙️

Our friend Josh Parsons, the driving force behind the local initiative Simcoe Strong, is on a mission to improve Downtown Simcoe — and Norfolk as a whole. ❤️

Josh is a businessman, Executive Director at Norfolk Community Foundation, and started Simcoe Strong to rally the community and to bring positivity to Downtown Simcoe.

Here’s the thing: Josh doesn’t just talk the talk — he walks the walk. 👣
Instead of just airing grievances, Josh grabs his tools 🛠️ and gets to work.

This week? He was downtown, picking weeds from the sidewalks 🌿 — helping to beautify our downtown core one handful at a time. ✨

As they say: “Be the change you want to see in the world.”

And Josh? He’s living it. 🙌

🌱👧👦 Two Peas in a Pod and The Little Bean — Norfolk’s Freshest Entrepreneurs

Meet the kids behind Two Peas in a Pod and the little Bean, now in their third year of running their own farm stand. 🥕🌽

Callie (10), Emma (8) and LJ (the 10 month old bean!) sell fresh, local produce — and here’s the best part: they saved their first year profits and bought the new stand and fridge themselves. 💰👏

From corn to carrots, they plant, pick and fill the stand daily. In the fall, they have pumpkins, gourds, and do special priced porch packages! Next time you pass by, stop in and support our youngest hometown growers. 💚
